PAWANAMUKTHASANA

(pictures from Bihar school of yoga) This was the first yoga pose that i learnt .My dad taught me this pose long before when i was a kid. I used to have problems because of constipation and gas. so he used to tell me to do this pose immediately before i got up from my bed. METHOD:
  1. Lie flat on your back.
  2. Fold the legs and hold the knee and pull them slowly towards chest,while exhaling.
  3. Inhaling relax the knee.
  4. Repeat this process for about 10 times.
  5. Stretch the legs and relax.
BENEFITS:
  • Release gas from stomach and intestine.
  • Massages abdominal organ.
  • Benefits lumber spine and muscles
