HALASANA

This is my yoga teacher Malathy's, (who was also my very good friend)favorite asana.For some unknown reason i too love doing this pose.SHe told me it was very good for utreus and thyroid. METHOD:
  1. Lie flat on back with palms on sides.
  2. Raise both the legs above the head and slowely bring it down to back of the head to touch the ground.
Note: keep the legs straigh and support the back with hands if need.
BENEFITS:
  • It is said to be good for diabetes as it rejuvenates pancrease .
  • Regulates adrenaline.
  • streches spine
CAUTION:
  • Maintain this pose for 3-4 seconds initially.
  • Dont force to touch the ground with foot initially.
  • Consult your doctor before trying and have proper guidence when begining for the first time.
