This is my yoga teacher Malathy's, (who was also my very good friend)favorite asana.For some unknown reason i too love doing this pose.SHe told me it was very good for utreus and thyroid.
METHOD:
- Lie flat on back with palms on sides.
- Raise both the legs above the head and slowely bring it down to back of the head to touch the ground.
BENEFITS:
- It is said to be good for diabetes as it rejuvenates pancrease .
- Regulates adrenaline.
- streches spine
- Maintain this pose for 3-4 seconds initially.
- Dont force to touch the ground with foot initially.
- Consult your doctor before trying and have proper guidence when begining for the first time.
